Inspired by an evening at the Morvala Festival, Encore captures the moment when lasers, smoke and starlight combine to transform the night sky. Rather than focusing on the performance itself, the painting celebrates the atmosphere created when music, light and darkness come together for a fleeting moment.
A small detail hidden within the painting pays tribute to an unexpected chapter in my own artistic journey. Look closely at the stage screen and you might spot The Train of Lights,the painting that later became the album cover for Hawkwind's Psychedelic Selections.
